Bear River Health at Walloon Lake is a private, scenic 4 1/2 acre campus with dedicated trail access to the scenic wilderness and calming water of Walloon Lake. 

RESIDENTIAL INPATIENT TREATMENT and MEDICALLY SUPERVISED DETOXIFICATIONThe Recovery Center is staffed by a Team of highly skilled, professional caregivers who will teach you the skills required for your path to recovery. Our licensed physician, nurses, clinicians, therapists, and support staff are compassionate highly skilled professionals ready to HELP NOW! 

The Residential program  follows the lesson plan of Living in Balance and is a four (4) week program involving four (4) group classes per day Monday thru Friday.

Every resident is assigned to a Master Level Clinical Therapist and will have a minimum of two (2) individual sessions per week.  Residential clients see the physician a minimum of one (1) time per week.

Weekend Programing includes Compassionate Communication and Family therapy where your family visits on site for residents after their second week. Many ancillary activites are offered including 12 step groups, body practice/exercise, accupuncture and much much more. 

 The OUTPATIENT FACILITY offers a choice between traditional 12-step based "Core" Programming and Wellbriety(TM) Red Road to Recovery. The Outpatient Facility offers assessments, outpatient therapy, indivdual therapy and imtensive out patient therapy.

Court approved DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING is available at both locations. Bear River Health (BRH) is an approved facility for testing at most Northerrn Michigan courts and the Western District of Michigan for federal probation.
